Questions and answers

How many questions are on the FTCE ESE K-12?

Approximately 80 multiple-choice questions in 2 hours 30 minutes, the exam's page on the FTCE site says. It adds that a test may include questions being evaluated for future administrations, which do not affect the score.

What is a passing score on the ESE K-12 exam?

A scaled score of at least 200. The scale is not a count or a percent of questions right, so this page reports your number right in exam mode and gives no pass verdict.

Does the ESE K-12 practice test cover Florida law or only IDEA?

Both. Beside the federal regulations it asks about Florida's definition of an exceptional student, educational plans for gifted students, the ban on seclusion, limits on physical restraint, consent for alternate assessment, and transition planning from age 12.
