What the assessment covers

GACE Elementary Education (P–5), test 702, has five testlets of 30 selected-response questions: English Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, and The Arts, Health, and Wellness. Each is 20% of the score, by the framework read October 7, 2026.

Timing

Exam mode asks all 60 questions in 96 minutes, the pace of the real 150 questions in 4 hours. On the real assessment Mathematics gets 60 minutes and each other testlet 45.

Where the answers come from

Each explanation names Georgia's own K-12 standard by its code, or a public page of the National Archives, NASA or NOAA. The health topics of the fifth testlet are left out; its questions cover the arts and physical education.

  • You may book any combination of testlets in one session, so practice one subject at a time before you sit it.
  • The test page lists no reference materials, so learn the formulas the mathematics questions use.

Questions and answers

Is this GACE Elementary Education practice test the real exam?

No. All 60 questions were written for this site from the published framework and Georgia's standards. None repeats or rewords a real question, a study guide sample or the paid practice test, and a result here is not a forecast of your score.

How many questions are on the GACE Elementary Education test?

150 selected-response questions, 30 in each testlet. Each testing session adds 15 minutes for a tutorial and nondisclosure agreement, and taking all five testlets at once brings a 15-minute break after the third.

Is there a GACE Elementary Education Test I practice test?

Test I and Test II were parts of the assessment under ETS, which gave its last GACE content tests on June 15, 2025. The assessment on the program site now, code 702, has five testlets, and this elementary education GACE practice test follows them.

What is the passing score for GACE Elementary Education?

A cumulative score of at least 220, and you must also meet each testlet's floor, its minimum required score. This page reports the number right only.
