What Unit 5 covers
The College Board's course description, effective fall 2026 and read October 14, 2026, gives Unit 5 ten topics. Nine have a set here: the Enlightenment (9 questions), nationalism and revolutions (14), the start of the Industrial Revolution (7), its spread (4), its technology (7), government's role (4), economic developments (6), reactions (7) and society (5). The tenth, continuity and change, is a skill practiced on all nine. The description weights no topic, so the counts are ours.
Where the answers come from
Each answer names the public page behind it: the declarations of 1776, 1789 and 1848 and the Communist Manifesto in their own words, a key concept of the course description, or a Wikipedia article.
Give each revolution one line: what caused it, which document speaks for it, and what state it left behind.
Keep the two industrial revolutions apart: steam, coal and textiles first; steel, chemicals and electricity second.
