OAE 003 study guide: three domains

By the framework at oh.nesinc.com, read October 9, 2026, multiple choice carries 80% of the score: Student Development and Learning 24%, Assessment, Instruction, and the Learning Environment 40%, The Professional Environment 16%. A case study and a work product carry 10% each.

Which code is yours

Middle Childhood 4–9 (002) and Multi-Age PK–12 (004) have the same three domains and weights, and Primary Education PK–5 (057) has the same weights, so every question outside adolescent development serves them too. Early Childhood PK–3 (001) has retired.

Ohio law in the answers

Seven questions rest on the Ohio Revised Code: reporting abuse, the bullying policy, corporal punishment, student records, gifted identification, academic standards and license discipline. The rest cite federal rules by section or a named Wikipedia article.
