Four areas, a quarter each

Short cases, as on the real test

Half of the real questions rest on short case-study scenarios. Most of ours do too: a firm, a few figures, one decision. The accounting is managerial: special orders, make-or-buy, joint costs, variances.

A third of the length

The timed exam here draws 40 of our questions in 58 minutes, the real test's pace.

  • ETS says the math needs no calculator, so work the finance and accounting figures by hand.
  • Some real questions join two or more content areas. ETS reports these as strategic integration.
